Cherie Everett

General Manager People and Culture

Cherie joined Metro Mining and the Executive Leadership Team in 2021 and is responsible for Metro Mining’s People and Culture strategy. She has extensive experience from strategic, transactional and operational people and culture roles.

She began her career with McInnes Wilson Lawyers before building her career across a diverse range of human resources and people engagement roles.

Her experience includes legal, not for profit, engineering, manufacturing and public relations.
In 2017, Cherie established People and Workplace Solutions, a consultancy that focussed on people engagement, development, compliance and leadership strategies in small to medium sized businesses.

Across all of these roles, Cherie’s passion has been the development of high performing teams and cultures through the application of evidence based practices.
